Rivian R1T rescues Toyota Tundra that’s been stuck in mud for two days
A recent video posted on social media has highlighted the understated strength and power of the Rivian R1T. The short clip showed a red Rivian R1T essentially being a good samaritan by helping a framed-out Toyota Tundra that has reportedly been stuck in deep mud for two days.
The video was posted on X by Rivian enthusiast Bark Baker, who noted that the Tundra had found itself stuck in deep mud. As could be seen in the video, the depth of the mud was no joke, so it was no surprise that the Tundra was renedered immovable. Fortunately for the Toyota, the Rivian R1T was up to the task.
"I had fun helping the owner of a framed-out Tundra, this morning. It had been stuck in deep mud for two days. The Rivian did great!" Baker wrote.

A look at the video itself showed that the Rivian R1T did not break any sweat as it pulled the Tundra out of the mud. The driver of the R1T seemed very careful too, as he pulled out the stuck combustion-powered Tundra in a deliberate and calculated manner.
The Rivian R1T may not look as aggressive as other electric pickup trucks in the market, but its strength is nothing to scoff at. As noted by Rivian on its official website, even the R1 Dual Motor AWD variant—the least powerful version of the R1T and R1S— produces 533 hp and 610 ft lbs of torque. That's no joke, and it is still higher than the torque produced by the high-end 2024 Toyota Tundra I-FORCE MAX, which produces 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.
